She was named one of the most popular teen celebs of the year in July's issue of Vanity Fair. In 2004, Vega recorded two films: Sleepover, and State's Evidence. She was a web-based bully in Lifetime's television movie Odd Girl Out the following year. The film was a specially-made television show in 2006 called Walkout. As of 2007, she finished shooting Remember the Daze which was only made available to limited theaters. Repo was shot and completed. The Genetic Opera released in 2008. ([10]) Vega was confirmed to play the lead role in Helix composed and directed by Aram Rappaport. The film was filmed in Chicago in March 2008. The role was initially cast for this year's Robert Rodriguez film Shorts, however, because of her being located in Australia for the filming of Broken Hill, she had to be replaced. Kat Dennings was cast in her place. She was a part of Broadway in Hairspray in the role of Penny. [11] In 2009, she was Ruby Gallagher on the ABC Family TV show, Ruby & the Rockits, that also featured Patrick as well as David Cassidy. Vega portrays Wick on The Devil's Carnival (2012), a movie from directors Darren Lynn Bousman, and Terrance Zdunich. They have previously collaborated with Vega on Repo! The Genetic Opera. In 2012, Vega starred in the independent thriller, 2br/1ba, produced by Rob Margolies and co-stars with Spencer Grammer and Kathryn Morris. Vega played a role in The Pregnancy Project on Lifetime Channel and finished her animated feature The Clockwork Girl. Vega's film, The Mine, which was shot in 2010, received only a screening and release. Vega was the voice of Christina on the animated show Unsupervised as well as having role on Royal Pains.
