Antonia Lofaso
Antonia Lofaso's cuisine can be a way to investigate the depths of her cooking. The curiosity in her grew after she moved from her home in the Long Island suburbs to explore the diverse culture of Los Angeles. The carnetas and the Cavatelli are, according to her, able to be found on the same menu. Her taste is constantly changing. What remains is her singular view of the future, while still wishing to reminisce about the past. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso established in 2013 received a great reception due to the fact that it was influenced by her Italian tradition. Lofaso has been praised for her interpretation of traditional Italian cuisine. The food at Lofaso is always genuine, warm and satisfying. Lofaso learned from culinary giants who employed sophisticated methods. But, she did not fear taking extraordinary risks in order to respect her instincts. After quickly rising through the ranks, she transformed various Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while being in contact with celebrities. In the year 2011, Lofaso joined forces with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to debut Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Lofaso had found home in the Black Market. Lofaso could achieve the creative spirit she desired through her collaboration. Black Market has no one idea in its head and that's the way it goes. It could start with chip dill, followed by shishitos peppers. Then comes an Korean wing and finally the meatballs course. Antonia's vibrant flavors are the basis of these daring combinations. Lofaso measured her professional success based on her ability to understand and remain authentic to her audiences. She's appeared on of numerous television shows like Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars and Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents continue to be recognized in her role as a judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup. In 2012, Lofaso collaborated with Penguin to publish the Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Cooking Ideas for Delicious homemade Meals and describes the obstacles she faced while studying at the elite French Culinary Institute, and simultaneously raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso says that the passion behind all of her accomplishments comes from the heart of the kitchen and it is through this vein that she continues to have an eye on the pulse. She has revolutionized the industry's aesthetic by redesigning chef wear with a focus on style and function with her own brand Chefletics. Lofaso's main concern is to stay in line with her mission. To achieve this goal she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. This provides customers with an incredibly personal experience.
